Chynna Williams 

Chynna was born in the beautiful city of San Francisco, CA where Redwood forests meets the Golden Pacific Coast. She's been a California girl for most of her life and completed her undergraduate studies at California State University, Chico. There she earned her Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Photography.

A few years after graduating, Chynna figured out she wanted to do more with her life. She discovered a love and passion for writing after studying abroad in Italy. After a difficult time during the pandemic, she realized she wasn't where she wanted to be in life. Chynna took a giant leap and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in screenwriting. In April of 2023, Chynna earned her MFA in screenwriting with Magna Cum Laude Honors at the New York Film Academy in Burbank, CA.

During school, she learned her true voice as a writer. She creates vivid and three-dimensional fantasy worlds with strong female and non-white lead characters at the center of those stories. As a writer and director, she wants to push the boundaries as a bi-racial creator. She is proud to be half-black and half-white and wants to create stories with more people who look like her in the fantasy worlds she loves to write in.
