Hey guys, and welcome back to my blog! I know it's been about a week and a half since my last blog post. But, I was hanging out with my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew for the week, while also starting my new job. I wanted to do a CWTV premiere blog post, because three shows that I watch on the CW, premiered two weeks ago. But I just didn't have the time to write, so here we are. It's the third week of the new seasons of The Flash, Riverdale, and Supernatural. Three shows that I absolutely love, all making my most anticipated fall 2017-2018 shows. We are on season four of The Flash, season two of Riverdale (which earned it's right to a full season), and season thirteen of Supernatural (wow, just wow). In this post, I will be talking about the last two episodes of these brand new seasons, and my thoughts on what I am looking forward to in the upcoming episodes. So, without further ado, let's get into it!

The Flash, Season Four:
Premiere Date: Tuesday, Oct. 10th

In the finale of Season Three of The Flash, Barry Allen aka The Flash, left Central City to take Kid Flash's place in the Speed Force. Barry told Iris to carry on, and to not think about the idea that he could come back. So, for the last six months, Iris has been taking the lead at S.T.A.R. Labs to distract herself. But it's been difficult for her, even though she's been trying to hide her feelings. Cisco aka Vibe and Wally West aka Kid Flash, have been tag teaming to help save Central City from villainous meta humans. Kaitlin Snow somehow found a way to not be Killer Frost, and is now working at a bar instead of S.T.A.R. labs, getting the help from a not so nice Meta...
Episode One: The Flash Reborn

During the premiere of The Flash, a Samuroid as Cisco tagged this Samurai/Robot Meta, enters Central City looking for The Flash. Because it wouldn't be an season of The Flash, without another Meta wanting The Flash. He tells Kid Flash and Vibe, that if they don't bring The Flash to him in 48 hours, he will destroy Central City. The team tries to figure out a way to bring back Barry from the Speed Force, but Iris disagrees with everyone else. Because they don't even know the consequences of bringing back Barry from the Speed Force. Wally, Cisco, and Detective West go against Iris' orders, and figure out a way to get Barry out of the Speed Force, with the help of Kaitlin.
The members of the Lab, eventually save Barry from the Speed Force, using the Speed Gun. But, Barry is left in the middle of nowhere, naked and crazy. Team Flash find Barry, but are worried about his sanity. They find Barry writing in some weird language, which looked a lot like Kryptonian from Smallville, and saying things that don't make sense. Cisco and Kaitlin realize that Barry might be trying to say something in this language, and try to decipher the code. But were disappointed to see that he was writing, "this house is bitchin'"

At the same time the Samuroid gets impatient, but even though Barry is not in the right mind-set, they still need him to help save Central City. When Iris thought that bringing Barry back from the Speed Force was a terrible idea, and not happy at the fact that everybody else went against her orders. Detective West figures out a way to get the old Barry back, by telling him that Iris was in danger and needed his help. That triggers something inside of him, and somehow Barry is back to normal and ready to save the day. Saving Iris and Central City from the Samuroid. But she still questions if the Barry/Flash that saved her, is the original Barry that left her sixth months ago.

At the end of the episode, we find out that the Samuroid was being controlled by another Meta Human, named The Thinker. Who will probably be Team Flash's big-time enemy for season four.

Episode Two: Mixed Signals
The next episode starts off with a bang, as a big-time tech guru looks at his new high-end/very expensive apartment. He leaves the scene wanting to buy the apartment right away, because money is not a problem for him. But, he doesn't make it out of the apartment alive, as the elevator goes all hay-wire.

The next day, as Barry tries finding his place back on his Earth, he reenacts a scene from Risky Business. While making a full breakfast meal and grabbing coffee at Jitters in less than 30 seconds. Before getting a call to get back to his regular job with CCPD. Now at the scene of the crime to survey the elevator attack. Cisco helps out CCPD as well, because there was some technical issues involved with this murder. He figures out that the elevator has been attacked, by a meta human.
Back at S.T.A.R. Labs, we see some tension and miscommunication between Barry and Iris. Kaitlin gives Iris advice, that maybe they should go see a therapist. Because when her and Ronnie were working together, they had some communication problems as well. But, disregards the advice, by telling herself there is nothing wrong with them, because they're Barry and Iris. While Barry and Iris figure out their communication problem with their therapist, Team Flash goes up against meta human Kilgore.

A meta human who can control technology, who uses his powers to kill his former business partners. Who all cut him off of their profits from an app they created together. Team Flash find out that he was the one controlling the elevator, killing the man who bought the apartment. His next victim was Tim Kwan, who he tries to kill by controlling his porsche going 120 miles per hour. This is when Iris decides that seeing a couples counselor might be the best for them, because Barry goes against her judgment again. By not listening to her directions, almost crashing Kwan into a construction zone, when they were trying to save him.

Barry and Iris go to their first counseling session, and awkwardly discuss their relationship. Mentioning all the funerals they've had to go to. Realizing how crazy they might be sounding, oh if the counselor really knew who they were. Barry, as always leaves Iris hanging, when he gets a call from Joe that Kilgore is about to bomb CCPD, because Kwan was being held there for questioning. The Flash arrives at the bomb scene just in time, to remove the shrapnel of the bomb outside of CCPD. As Cisco tries to figure out a way to stop Kilgore and to save the creators of this app, he finds himself in a pickle in his own relationship with Gypsy. Gypsy returns to Earth-1 to go on a date with him, and she insists that their date has to be on this day because it is a very important day on her Earth. It's called 1-1-1, a romantic holiday where two separate souls become one. But, Cisco has to move the date around, because of work, and while Gypsy says she is fine, she is definitely not.

Another member of this tech group is attacked, as she is visited by Kwan. Kilgore uses his powers to give her an insulin overdose. Luckily, Kid Flash is there in time to save her, but Kilgore has instead kidnapped Kwan. As Kid Flash saves the girl, Iris and Barry continue to dig at the root of their problems. Barry doesn't see a problem with their relationship, but Iris reveals that she was upset over Barry's decision to enter the Speed Force without consulting her first. She also tries to get into Barry's head that The Flash isn't just him, that they are both The Flash now. So, he has to try and listen to her suggestions as well. At the same time he has to save Kwan again from Kilgore, using his new and improved suit. But, the suit is having some issues, making it difficult to save Kwan. Barry has a tough time trying to figure out what he needs to do to control his suit, but Iris figures out a way and Barry listens. Once again, Team Flash saves the day, while also figuring out all their issues at the same time.

At the end of the episode we are revisited by The Thinker, who makes sure that Kilgore is put in the right place. As we find out that he was working with someone at Iron Heights, so that he can always be watching the meta humans Barry imprisons.
My Thoughts:
As we head into Season Four, The Flash is easily becoming one of my favorite television shows. It really brings me back to my Smallville watching days. I love the humor of the show and all of the characters. A lot of you probably would ask me why I watch The Flash, but not Arrow. And that's because, I don't think the new Arrow has the same qualities and feel to The Green Arrow from Smallville. I just didn't catch onto Stephen Amell as Arrow, because I loved Justin Hartley as The Green Arrow, in Smallville. Not to dig at Stephen's acting skills, but I mainly watch The Flash, because I think Grant Gustin is doing a spectacular job of portraying The Flash. Not only that, but I absolutely adore the other members of Team Flash. They make the show so enjoyable to watch, and I am extremely excited to see more character development from the supporting characters.

It's clear that in Season Four, the major story-line is going to be Team Flash vs. The Thinker. I don't know much about The Thinker, but it does seem like he will be a very interesting villain. I thought these first two episodes were action packed, comedic, and heartwarming. Which is what we all love about The Flash, so I am extremely excited to see what Season Four has in store for us.
Riverdale, Season Two:
Premiere Date: Wednesday, October 11th

Last Spring we were introduced to a new CW show, called Riverdale. Shortly after the finale, The CW, not my initials but the television network, granted Riverdale a full Fall season. After the success of the twelve episode, Spring season one premiere. All though there is a huge divide with this show, it clearly had enough positive reviews for the network to give it a full 24 episode season. I am one of those few on the positive side, absolutely falling in love with Archie and the gang. I know a lot of people didn't like the dark twist of these much beloved comic book characters, but I actually adored the dark teen melodrama. Which I know is kind of a contradiction, but the reason why I fell in love with this show was because of the characters and story-line. Even though some of those lines said were very cringe worthy; prepare yourself for many milkshakes, quality Gifs, and daddy issues.
Chapter Fourteen: A Kiss Before Dying

In the season two premiere of Riverdale, we pick up right where we left off. At Pops, shortly after Archie's father, Mr. Andrews (Luke Perry) was shot by the masked man. And as always, Jughead Jones narrating the scene of recent events of this "haunted town." Once the masked man with green eyes leaves Pops, Archie drives his father to the hospital, did we mention that he doesn't have a driver's license?
Even though Archie disrupts the hauntingly quiet town of Riverdale, with his terrible driving skills. He makes it to the hospital, where Mr. Andrews is rushed to surgery. Where we first take a look inside of Mr. Andrews dreaming yet unconscious mind. He is at Archie and friends' graduation, where Mr. Andrews is taking a photo alongside Mary Andrews (Molly Ringwald), so proud of his son. But, something throws him off as Veronica tells him that he never made it to his graduation, because of what happened at Pops. Remembering the masked man who shot him, snapping back to reality.

Betty is back at home, who might be a little bit too honest with her mom. When she tells Mrs. Cooper that she didn't sleep with Jughead after the Jubilee, because they were interrupted by the Southside Serpents. But that she definitely wanted to, which is where she goes a bit too far with her honesty. Luckily, Archie calls Betty that he's at the hospital, where his father is having surgery. She calls Veronica right away, who is having croissants and a mimosa made from Cristal that Hermione bought for Hiram. For his first day back from jail, only doing so to piss off her parents. In the middle of an argument with her mother, she rushes to the hospital after the call. Betty then calls Jughead, who instantly rushes to the hospital on his father's motorcycle, wearing a very cool helmet. Somehow, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead enter the hospital at the same time. All worried for their friend Archie and Mr. Andrews.

Archie calls his mother to update her on the shooting, and to come back to Riverdale as soon as possible, because he doesn't know if his father will make it out alive. Archie then talks to Sheriff Keller about what happened, well almost everything. He leaves out a few things, and Jughead instantly notices that Archie is holding back. Sheriff Keller gives Archie two reasons behind the attack, that either there was truly a motive as to why this robber decided to shoot Mr. Andrews. Or that they just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and that the robber was a random druggy wanting to rob Pop's. But Jughead thinks there might actually be a motive, telling them both that some of the Serpents who worked with Mr. Andrews before, could've been mad that he fired them. Which is perfect now that Jughead is an honorary Southside Serpent, using his ties to get to the bottom of this.
We get back inside Mr. Andrews head, where he is leaving Andrews and Sons, but realizes he doesn't want to leave his son (which is being used as a metaphor, since he literally could be leaving his son if he doesn't wake up). Veronica takes Archie to his house, to get cleaned up. But Archie takes this opportunity to walk his dog Vegas, and tells Veronica about when they first adopted Vegas, and how Vegas was supposed to be his dog. But after Archie started football, Mr. Andrews found himself taking care of Vegas more than Archie, eventually loving that dog more than Archie ever did. Making Archie realize how much he needs his dad, which saddens Veronica. But not to worry, after Archie comforts Veronica, she tries to do the same by having hot shower sex. Shortly after sex scene, Veronica continues to try and be a good girlfriend, by taking out all of Mr. Andrews things in the plastic bag. Her help backfires as Archie blames Veronica for stealing his father's wallet, which he always has with him. He erupts and disregards Veronica's help, but Veronica doesn't leave. Telling Archie that she is only here to be a good girlfriend and that she won't back away from this relationship that easily, and that maybe the wallet is still at Pops.

Archie is called in for a lineup, but not surprisingly the shooter isn't there. Betty and Jughead look for Mr. Andrews' wallet at Pops, but find no such luck. Pop reveals to Jughead and Betty, in cryptic fashion, that this shooter wasn't looking for money, that there was indeed a darker motive to the shooting. And even though Pop just told Bughead, that "The Angel of Death" has just arrived Riverdale, Jughead finds this a perfect opportunity to eat some burgers.

Back at the hospital, Cheryl is "comforting" her mother. But really she is threatening that if her mother tells the truth about the fire, she will tell everyone about how her father was the one who killed Jason. At the same time, Veronica is having some mother issues as well, when she isn't too happy that Hermione is so willing to let Hiram walk right back into their lives. Somehow blaming her parents for the shooting, because she knew that Mr. Andrews didn't want to be a part of their deal.
Instead of being a part of her Lodge title, Veronica goes back to being what she really wants to be right now, and that's being Archie's girlfriend. Giving Archie a new wallet, to give to Fred after he wakes up. After Betty and Jughead returns to the hospital with some fuel, Archie tells his friends about what really happened at the shooting. That he didn't go into Pure Heart the Powerful, and instead froze once the masked man entered Pops. Blaming himself for not doing anything right away, to save his father. But obviously there was nothing he could do, without hurting himself in the process, which is what his friends tell him. Once he finally let's out with the big reveal, the doctor's dressed in throwback hospital gowns, tell him that he can see his father now. Archie runs into Cheryl giving Mr. Andrews a big red kiss of life, because that is what Archie did for her after saving her from her attempted suicide.

Mr. Andrews has another vision, this time at Veronica and Archie's wedding. He is standing so proud, looking at his son so in love with his soon-to-be wife. But once again, he is interrupted by the "Angel of Death." Fred finally wakes up, when Archie makes a promise to always protect his father. As for the other members of the gang, Betty tells Jughead that he will support him in this transition, of exploring what it means to be a Serpent. All though, both of them might reconsider after Jughead enters his house, where two Southside Serpents beat a man to death to find out more information on the shooting. Veronica is welcomed back home by Hermione and Hiram (Mark Consuelos), who finds that it was so disrespectful of her to drink his Cristal without asking.
As Mr. Andrews is brought back home to heal, Archie goes into protective mode. By literally keeping watch by the front door, with a baseball bat.

On the other side of Sweetwater River in a town called Greendale, "The Angel of Death" strikes back, as Jughead so lightly narrates. When he enters Mrs. Grundie's home, who can't seem to get out of this cycle of mentoring/having relationships with Archie-like teens. "The Angel of Death" kills Mrs. Grundie, using the cello bow that Archie gave her, before she left Riverdale.
Chapter Fifteen: Nighthawks
In episode two of season two, Archie continues to uphold his promise of protecting his father. By attempting to make his father breakfast, (what is with the CW and breakfast?), and putting up posters of Mr. Andrews attempted killer around town. As for Veronica, she is still struggling over the fact that her father is back in town. Because how can she trust her father now, that he won't make the same mistake he did before. So, instead of dealing with her issues at home, she decides to keep blowing her father off at his attempts to get to know the woman she is now. Betty and Jughead go to Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe to get a bite to eat, which now looks like it's been taken over by ghosts. Pop tells them that after the shooting, business was falling, and he is being forced to sell the place. But, Betty is determined to keep it afloat, while Jughead deals with his father's sentencing. When he finds out that his father might get up to 20 years in prison. Jughead refuses to think that this is a good deal, and finds himself working with the Serpents again.

As Betty, Jug, and Veronica worry for Archie, Veronica suggests that hee speaks to a counselor about everything. That talking might help the situation, instead of losing sleep from holding a bat in front of his door every night. At the same time Jughead and Betty ask the Mayor McCoy for help with Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe. But she has no intentions in helping out with Pop's, because it is now a center for drug dealings, which can make Riverdale look bad. This is when we get those cringe worthy dramatic moments from our very own Jughead Jones, "You remember this moment. The moment you turned your back on both Pop Tate and my father."

Now we have this thing called Jingle Jangle, which is the drug of choice for horny Riverdale teens. It's supposedly something like Adderall and Viagra, a drug that keeps you up and focused for late nights and well, you know... sex. We first see Reggie (now played by Charles Melton) dealing it to this random new character named Midge, who is apparently in a relationship with Moose, when did this happen? And now Archie is interested in this Jingle Jangle stuff, to help stay up at night to protect Mr. Andrews, because apparently Red Bull isn't enough. As I was trying to figure out what this Jingle Jangle stuff was, apparently it's just another way for the Riverdale writers to connect the show with the original comics. Because actually, Jingle Jangle is a reference to a song performed by the Archies in the Archie Comics. Riverdale is just putting their dark teen melodramatic twist to it, by making it a drug.

At school we find out that Josie is now a River Vixen, and that Mrs. Grundie has been murdered. Archie runs out of class straight to Sheriff Keller, because he thinks this murderer is out to get all the people who he loves. But, no one believes Archie that this is the case, especially after he gets help from Mrs. Cooper of all people. She talks to her coroner friend, to find out that Mrs. Grundie was strangled by the cello bow that Archie gave Mrs. Grundie. But, that it was most likely a "crime of passion," because there was no forced entry, and from Mrs. Grundie's ex-husband's airtight alibi.
As for Pop's, Betty is determined to keep this place afloat, because it means so much to her. She tells her friends of when her, Polly, and her mother would use to go there all the time, back when everything was normal iwth her family. And how it was where she met Veronica for the first time, and the memories she shared with Jughead there. Her and Veronica find out that someone had bought Pop's for a very steep price, and with everything going on between Veronica and her father. Naturally, she thinks Hiram bought the place, to win over his daughter's heart, but he denies her accusations. Regardless of whoever bought the shop, Betty figures out a way to bring customers back. But, that's not the only thing Betty wants to help out with, and here's where we see Betty's dark side come back to surface. When she approaches Cheryl in the girl's locker-room, where she gives Cheryl an ultimatum. To basically testify at court to help Jughead's dad, and if she doesn't Betty would send out the video playing Mr. Blossom's confession. Cheryl eventually testifies to make sure that she gets that video back.

The night ends with Betty's successful, but maybe not so successful Throwback night. With a free concert from The Pussycats, and a sweet rendition of "Milkshake" by Kelis. Even though Pops still seems to be a drug dealing haven, which Mrs. Cooper catches a video of. Pops is back in business, all from the help of Betty's help and an anonymous donation.

However, we find out is no longer an anonymous donation, and just the works of Hiram Lodge. Archie gets his hands on a gun, because a baseball bat just won't do. Jughead tells FP, of the help he got from Penny Peabody. FP then warns Jughead to stay away from her, and to get out of this deal however he can. Later that night, Midge and Moose are getting it on, with the help of their Jingle Jangle. Only to be shot by "The Angel of Death," to close out the show.
My Thoughts:
So, with that recap of the last two episodes of Riverdale, we can definitely expect a much darker second season. But how much darker can it get, after that last half of season one. Clearly, this season is going to focus on figuring out who this "Angel of Death" really is, and what his motive is. What will Penny Peabody want Jughead to do in return for her help? And how far off the deep end will Archie go to protect his father and the town of Riverdale?
A part from being a bit too dramatic at certain moments, I was very pleased with the first two episodes of this season of Riverdale. The only small issue I had with these first two episodes was with Reggie, and it wasn't because of casting switching the actors. I know that the old Reggie (Ross Butler), probably had some filming conflicts, with 13 Reasons Why. But the thing that bothered me, was how buddy buddy him and Archie were, because didn't Reggie hate Archie for almost quitting the football team? Or did I miss something there kiss and makeup? A part from that, I enjoyed these episodes very much, and am looking forward to see where this season is headed. I am most excited to see Cheryl's character development and how her crazy story-line with her mother will end up. I am also curious if we'll be getting more dark Betty this season, because we definitely saw hints of her coming out in the last episode. All in all, I am very excited to be back in the land of milkshakes, burgers, pussycats, and Jughead Jones.
Supernatural, Season Thirteen:
Premiere Date: Thursday, October 12th

My favorite demon hunting brothers are back for a thirteenth season, and I am just such a proud little Supernatural fan. But, if I do have one question before I get into the recap, it would be where the hell is Castiel? Because he can't be dead for real, he just can't. Not after they revealed to us that Cas will be coming back at Comic-Con. With that being said, we were left with a bang of a finale for season 12, and there were just so many questions waiting to be answered. Luckily, we got some of them answered, well maybe a slim few.
Episode One: Lost and Found

In the finale of season 12, we were left with Jack aka Lucifer's Nephilim son, born as a full grown teen, blowing up Sam and Dean in the air. Mary entering the parallel world, to help her son's kill Lucifer. And Castiel supposedly dead, but as we all know the killing of major characters in this show, isn't as final as death really is. Now as we come to the start of season 13, it is easy to see what the major story-line of this season will be. And that is how the Winchester Brother's are going to deal with this Nephilim child.

We start the episode off with Jack teleporting away, scared, naked, and out of his mind. Once again, what's with the CW and naked crazy people? Anyways, Jack ends up at a burger place, where two teens joke around at work, changing the menu to butt everything. One of the teens, who just so happens to be our very own Riverdale Southside Serpent, Joaquin DeSantos (Rob Raco), obviously with a different name... asks Jack what he wants to order. They look at the camera, as Jack replies that he wants his father, thinking that was a very strange response. Only to see this naked and afraid boy, luckily the teen played by Rob Raco, has a mother who works for the local police station.
Dean and Sam are now in search of Jack, but both wanting two different things whenever they do find Jack. Dean immediately wants to kill the boy, because he is a Nephilim. But Sam thinks that they can actually shape and mold him, into being more like his mother. They try to think of where Jack could've gone, ending up at the burger place. The other teen who saw Jack tells them that his friend took him to the police station. At the same time, a "hungover" bystander continuously asks for curly fries, but unfortunately the burger place doesn't have curly fries. Before Dean and Sam leave for the station, the girl talks to Dean about how she burned her old roommates side of her room, because of how much she hated her. As Sam and Dean leave the burger stand, they don't realize that the girl wrote "Bitch" on baby.
At the station, Jack is questioned by the teen's mother, but she starts to realize that he is not making any sense. All she could find out is that he's looking for his father, but that he doesn't know who his father is. So she does a fingerprint to hopefully get a match. While the Sheriff does that, Jack befriends the teen, who seems to think that Jack is high. Even though Jack said he wasn't stoned, just hungry, which is something a stoned person would say. In the process of finding food, the teen realizes that Jack has powers and loves nougat.

At the same time the Sheriff realizes that there is something off with Jack's thumbprint.
Sam and Dean finally find Jack at the station, where Jack apologizes to Sam for his actions. But all he wanted was to find his father, who he believes to be is Castiel. Because that is what Kelly told him, when she was teaching him things. Sam is shocked, but now finds even more of a reason not to kill Jack. Sam suggests to Dean that they bring Jack to the bunker, and Dean agrees but for a different reason. Just before they try to leave the station, thanking the sheriff for her help, the Angels arrive. We find out that the hungover girl begging for curly fries, is actually an Angel. Then of course we get another full on Angel fight, finding out that Jack can heal himself as well. After smiting the Angels away, the teen who became friends with Jack is sent to the hospital, and the Winchester brothers head out to the bunker.

Before making their way to the bunker, they stop at the house where Jack was born, to give Castiel a Hunter's funeral. But before they burn his body, Sam stops Dean proposing that God might be able to help. But Dean lets his brother know, that he already asked God for help, to bring back mom, Cas, and even Crowley. But, of course Chuck/God doesn't answer, making Dean believe that God isn't listening. Continuing on with the funeral, saying goodbye to everyone they lost. But the Winchester brother's are oh so wrong about one death, as we flash to the parallel apocalyptic world. Seeing Mary about to be murdered by Lucifer, but at the last second he decides not to kill her. Instead, asking for her help to get out of this parallel world.
Episode Two: The Rising Son

As Dean and Sam make their way to the bunker, a new King of Hell makes his way to town. His name, Asmodeus, who just so happens to be the fourth Prince of Hell. Hell can't be run without someone on the throne, so he decides to take Lucifer's place until he gets back. But he decides that they shouldn't be trying to find Lucifer, instead they should really be finding Jack. Because Jack could ultimately be more powerful than Lucifer. At the same time in the parallel world, Lucifer reveals to Mary why he is keeping her alive. And that's because he wants to use her as leverage, so in return he can get his son back. That is if they ever get out of this apocalyptic parallel world, where Angels throw fireballs at you.

Back on Earth, Sam and Dean decide to get some shut eye and fuel at a hotel, which Jack finds extremely enjoyable. This is where we finally get some of that Supernatural comedy we all know and love. As Dean decides to get some food, and Jack chows down on his burgers. Jack copies Dean's every move to be more human, and while Dean finds it incredibly annoying, Sam finds it absolutely hilarious. After eating, Dean sets Jack on the couch to get some light reading done, handing him the bible. Which isn't exactly light reading. As Jack asks about Satan and God, Sam finds this the perfect opportunity to ask Jack if he has any other powers. Such as teleportation, but Jack responds by exiting the door as a normal human being would. Again, there's more of that sweet Supernatural comic-relief. Donatello than randomly arrives at the hotel, feeling a surge of energy gravitating him to Wyoming. That surge of power was in fact Jack. Sam believes that Jack might be less human than the brother's thought, so they decide to get Jack a protection tattoo. But all that work was for nothing, as Jack's body heals himself from the tattoo.

As Sam, Dean, and Donatello fight about what they should do with Jack, he teleports out of the hotel. Sam finds him in the back, and Jack asks him why Dean hates him so much. Sam responds by saying he doesn't hate him, just that he's afraid. And that right now, what they need to do is to protect Jack, but Jack wonders if all of this anger is worth protecting him. As Sam tries to calm Jack down, Dean grabs a drink at the bar, because that's what Dean does when he's angry, sad, and tired. He has a chat with the bartender, but we actually find out that the bartender was Asmodeus disguised as the dead bartender.

The next day Jack crashes with Donatello, who we later find out wasn't the actual Donatello. But instead the Fourth Prince of Hell disguised as Donatello. The brothers realize this because Sam had just been talking to Donatello, but it actually wasn't Donatello he was speaking to. And now Asmodeus has Jack, wanting him to create a hole to Hell. To release the demon soldiers, because apparently Jasper, Wyoming is a gateway to Hell. Jack almost frees the demon soldiers out, before Sam, Dean, and Donatello come to the rescue. Asmodeus starts choking Jack's friend to Death, and throws back his anger at Asmodeus. But considering he's a Prince of Hell, he can't be stopped that easy.

Back in the parallel world, Mary is now on her own, but not for very long. As she gets in trouble with a demon hunter, Lucifer finds her in the nick of time. Saving her from the demon hunter, but clearly they can't get away from danger that easily. As they run into an old Archangel "friend," named Michael. Lucifer is confused, because on their Earth, Michael was killed. But it's clear that this parallel world, is not the same as their Earth. Which begs the question, will they actually ever get out of this place?
My Thoughts:
Once again, I am very pleased with yet another CW premiere, which to be honest, I was very nervous about. Especially with Supernatural, mainly because season 12 wasn't my favorite seasons. But I have to say, that I am very excited about season 13 of Supernatural. There was obviously a reason as to why it made my most anticipated fall tv shows, even though last season was a fail for me.
I have to say, that even though Castiel has yet to come back, I am still enjoying this season very much. I actually love Jack and understand fully why Sam wants to protect him, even though he may be Lucifer's son. I just hope he doesn't get corrupted by his dark side, but in Supernatural we don't always get what we want. I am also surprisingly enjoying Mary and Lucifer's dynamic in this parallel world. When I talked about Supernatural in my most anticipated fall TV shows post, I mentioned that I wanted to see more of this parallel world. Which we definitely are getting, and even though Lucifer is actually a horrible person. I really see a different side to him when he's with Mary, even though he might only be using her to get to his son. With all that said, I am clearly super pleased with season 13 of Supernatural, and I am looking forward to what this season has in store for us. I am especially excited about the Scooby-Doo episode, which was hinted in the last episode at the hotel, when Jack was TV surfing. But I am also looking forward to see this Wayward Sisters spin-off pilot. Even though the last time they tried to do something like that, it was a complete flop.
With all that being said, here is what we can look forward to in the upcoming episodes of The Flash, Riverdale, and Supernatural. Keep in mind, these may be spoilers for those who haven't watched the most recent episodes of these shows.
Thank you all so much for keeping up with my blog posts, even though it's been a while since I last posted one. But, now that I know what my work schedule is basically going to look like, I'll hopefully be able update you guys twice a week on my reading and TV watching. With that being said I hope you all enjoyed this post, even though it's a long one.
TTFN,
