What's Been Going On?

Hello, everybody and welcome to another edition of The CW Torch. It's been a while, since I'v written anything on here, so today I wanted to share why I've been away for so long.

I know it's been a very long time since I last posted anything, and I am so sorry about that. But, the truth is, I haven't really had the motivation to post anything on this blog. While I love writing and talking about books, I feel as though I've been writing the same type of posts and nothing really inventive or new. So, finding the motivation to write has been difficult, especially since I've been doing more fiction writing on the side. I feel more motivation to write creatively, so that's been taking up a lot of my time. Another thing is, I've been finding it hard to find time to write for this blog. When I come home after being in front of a computer screen all day, the last thing I want to do is turn on my laptop and write a blog that I have no motivation for anymore. The only thing I really feel motivation for, is editing my first completed novel and outlining/writing a new novel I've been slowly working on. Which who knows, hopefully, you all will be reading soon!

It is a sad thing to say that I don't have the motivation to spend time on this blog. Because it is really the only outlet I have to talk about the books I've been reading recently, which is a huge passion of mine. But, at the same time, why would I spend time on something that I don't really feel like working on anymore. Just to write something that's kind of half-assed and nothing I truly feel proud of.

Since, I haven't felt the motivation to write, I will be taking a long break from posting anything on here. I just wanted to take the time to tell those who have been following this blog, why I have been so absent in the last couple of months. All though, I hope to not completely stop this blog, and maybe I'll just keep this blog open to reviewing books that I really love. But, it'll just be less frequently then what I have been doing in the past.

For those of you, who want to keep updated on what I am currently reading, I would definitely keep up on my Instagram and Twitter. While I won't be posting much on here, I will try to update more on those platforms. Thank you all for those who have been sticking with me, even when I took an extremely long break from this blog. Maybe, later in the year, I will get more into posting again, but as of now I will be signing off for a while. Thank you all for reading!
